Kitchen Reno

This last fall we had a broken waterline on fridge and it ruined our laminate flooring. Since the entire floor had to be replaced, we decided to re-paint the cabinets and install tile. 

BEFORE:

During the remodel our stove and dishwasher needed to be replaced. I was able to get the entire look I've been wanting for this kitchen.

The painting process took a while. I had shoulder surgery in the middle of the tile installation and Mike had a lot of work. We had a lot of trouble with painting the cabinets doors because the paint and primer would not cooperate. Thankfully a lady at home depot told us about Alkyd paint. This paint changed our life. We painted the pantry door, trim, added new bead board to kitchen peninsula, and added new hardware.

This year I am able to decorate for Christmas. We were without cabinet doors for a while last year. 

AFTER: 

I am definitely falling in love with my kitchen. It still needs new counter tops, back splash, rugs, and window treatments. I just haven't figured out exactly what I want yet.
